The Basics of Video Production

Our most popular course. Lectures will cover the fundamental techniques of shooting, miking, editing and lighting. Attendees will form production teams to put these techniques into practice. You will plan a project together, shoot it in Videomaker's studio and on location, edit it, and screen the results at the end of the workshop.

DVD Authoring

Our instructors will give attendees an overview of the computer tools and processes necessary for putting videos onto discs. We'll cover DVD usability, DVD software, hardware and DVD authoring techniques. Attendees must bring a miniDV tape containing a video of 5 minutes or less in length. They will design and master on a computer, a DVD containing the video clips brought by the group's members.
